BLOCK 4 IS A FACT

And here is number 4, this one is called "Amethyst"

I"m now working on the sashings between the blocks. I put on every bottom and right side of the blocks the sashing and a little square. I won't wait until I made all the blocks.

I"m afraid that I don't like that job then.

THIRD BLOCK

And block number 3 is also ready, this one is called "Album 2 "

Number 4 and 5 are ready too. Tomorrow I will show you these two.

And next tuesday is our monthly meeting at the store, and than we can start on the next 4 or 5 blocks. I can't hardly wait.

I already made my 5 blocks for this month, this block is the first one. 54-40 or fight.

I just like my chosen fabrics, the colours fit nicely together. Tomorrow the second block.

Back in Town

Hello everyone,

Al already been back in town for two weeks. The jetlag is gone and the everything is back to normal.

We had a wonderful time in The States and I really enjoyed it to see my dear Daughter Judith again. We spent several days with her!

We, my husband and I had a wonderful tour around the canyons and several National parcs.

And now we love the country, and we will go back in a few years.

And of course I visit some quilt shops. My assignment was to buy the fabrics for Sylvia's Bridal Sampler. And it was a good idea to do this, because otherwise I would not know what to buy.

The stores where packed with lovely fabrics.

On the photo above you can see my purchase. It was so much fun to do, and even my husband got the hang of it.

GOING ON A HOLIDAY

Tommorow I am going for 3 weeks to the USA.

My daughter is studing for her license to be a pilot, and for this study she must fly in Phoenix Arizona.

She is already 2 1/2 months away and I'm really excited to see her again.

We are going to visit her for a couple of days, than me and my husband are going to make a tour around Arizona and California, for two weeks .

And after that a couple of days more to my daughter.

So you can understand for the next three weeks there will be no messages on this blog.

It is not a big surprise, oeps the last post was also three weeks ago.

When I'm back in town I give you my worth, I'm going to better my life and try to post more messages.

2009 is nearly over! Time for a new year, new ideas, new projects, new friends etc.etc.
